What is The Tribe?
The Tribe is a place to belong when the future feels uncertain. It brings together a friendly community, honest guides, real local groups we call bases, and help across six areas of life we call the doors. It is a movement being built in the open, and you are welcome to help shape it.
Is The Tribe free to join?
Yes. Joining is free and reading is always free. There is no paywall in front of the community. If you value what we build and you are able, you can make a small pledge, but it is never required and no one is ever chased for it.
What do I actually get as a member?
A free account to find people near you, join and start communities, take part in honest conversations, and use the six doors: volunteering, athletes and clubs, careers and jobs, marriage-minded matchmaking, and support. You also get a home online for your own local group, and a founding member number because you joined early.
Trust and honesty
Is The Tribe a cult?
No, and we built it to never feel like one. There are no gurus, no secret teachings, and no pressure. We are secular and open about how we work, and you can leave at any time and take your data with you. Belonging here means being welcomed, not being owned.
Who runs The Tribe?
The Tribe was started by one founder who chooses to stay anonymous, so the focus stays on the community rather than a personality. Anonymous does not mean unaccountable: we publish how the money works, we tell the truth about how new we are, and you can always reach us.
How does The Tribe make money?
Through an optional pledge of around one percent of what you can afford, given by ability and never chased. There is no advertising and we do not sell your data. A portion of any pledge funds the community's activities and a portion supports the founder's work, and we keep an open ledger so you can see the honest picture.
Do you sell my data or show me ads?
No. We do not sell your personal data and we do not run advertising. Our model is a small voluntary pledge, not your attention or your information. Protecting that trust matters more to us than any quick way to make money.
How do I know this is real and not a scam?
A fair question, and the honest answer is that we are new and small, so we try to earn trust rather than demand it. We never fake members, numbers, or reviews. We never publish a wallet or take payment through the site, and any contribution is arranged privately by email on trust. Read everything first, join free, and decide for yourself.
How many members does The Tribe have?
We are just beginning, and we will always tell you the truth about that rather than inflate our numbers. If you join now you are genuinely one of the first, which is why early members receive a founding number. Help us build the room you wish already existed.

What are the doors?
The doors are six honest ways into belonging: volunteering, athletes and fan-owned clubs, careers and jobs, marriage-minded matchmaking, support, and the wider community. Come through whichever one fits your life right now, and explore the others whenever you like.
Is the matchmaking for casual dating or hookups?
No. Matchmaking on The Tribe is for people who are serious about marriage and committed relationships, not casual dating or hookups. It is opt-in, for adults only, and built to be respectful and safe, with real intent at its heart.
How does The Tribe keep people safe?
You choose who can see what you share, you can block and report anyone, and matchmaking is kept separate from your everyday profile. We take reports seriously and remove content that breaks our community guidelines. Safety is something we keep strengthening as we grow.
Can I read The Tribe before I join?
Yes. The community, the guides, and the free tools are open to read before you sign up. You only need a free account when you want to take part, post, or use the doors.
Practical questions
Can I control what stays private?
Yes. You decide what is public and what stays private, and matchmaking is kept apart from your everyday profile. You can change your password or delete your account yourself at any time, and deleting your account removes your personal information.
Is there an app?
You can add The Tribe to your phone's home screen today and use it like an app, because it is built as an installable web app. Dedicated apps for iOS and Android are on the way as the community grows.
What if no one near me has joined yet?
That is normal this early, and it is not a dead end. You can still take part in the wider community and use every guide and tool, and when enough people in your area join, a local base opens so you can meet in person. Inviting a few people nearby is the fastest way to open your base.
