The Tribe is built to be a warm, honest place, and part of that is being straight with you about staying safe, especially when you start talking to someone new or thinking about meeting for marriage. Here is how we protect you, and how to protect yourself.
The protections built in.
No fake profiles
We never invent members or inflate numbers. Everyone here is a real person, and matchmaking is for serious, marriage-minded connection only, never hookups.
You control who reaches you
You choose who can message you, you can block anyone instantly, and you decide what is visible on your profile. No one is forced on you.
Report anything, easily
If someone behaves in a way that does not belong here, report them. We take it seriously, we act, and we would always rather hear from you early.
Verification, growing
We are building free identity and photo verification so you can see who is genuine, with women-first safety at its heart. Trust is the whole product, not an afterthought.
When you meet in person, take these simple steps.
Chat here first, and have a video call before you meet. A real person will happily show their face.
Meet in a busy public place the first few times. Never at your home or theirs, and never somewhere isolated.
Tell a friend or family member where you are going, who with, and when you expect to be back.
Arrange your own way there and back, so you are never dependent on someone you have just met.
Take it at your own pace. Anyone worth your time will respect that, and will never pressure you.
Trust your instincts. If something feels off, you owe no one an explanation. Leave, and tell us.
The one rule that matters most: never send money.
Marriage-minded people are exactly who scammers target, because your intentions are good. Real feelings move at a human pace. Be very careful of anyone who:
Asks you for money, gift cards, or crypto, for any reason at all, however heartfelt the story.
Declares deep love very fast, then wants to move you off The Tribe to another app straight away.
Always has an excuse not to video call or meet, or whose photos seem too polished to be true.
Has a sudden crisis, a stuck payment, a sick relative, a customs fee, and only you can help.
If any of this happens, stop, do not send anything, and report them to us. You will not be judged, and you may protect someone else too.
